(Edited) Id speculate it was hooked up incorrectly.or when he was installing it, shorted out the ECU, which sits on top of the battery and can be damaged by touching a metal tool to the ECU while at the same time letting the tool contact the battery post.

If I switch cords and the take the one plugged into my KTM (working normally) and put it on to the BMW, now the side I just connected to BMW gives the ame serror message and the one now connected to the KTM is working fine. I have checked to make sure the pigtail is connected correctly and to the negative terminal on battery, and the remote positive post, connections tight.īut when I plug the tender into the pigtail, the tender gives the "not connected properly" message. I have a Deltran Battery Tender (it is a 2015 model, two bank) and i plug it into the dealer-installed pigtail.
